Thanksgiving weekend

Thanksgiving is full of many things. Turkey, cakes, pies, biscuits, tons of family members came to eat turkey and biscuits, and they ate them in one day. All of this means that you will generate a lot of garbage. During the holiday week, you may have more trash than usual, so knowing when you can empty the trash can is an important part of your preparation.
When is the garbage collected? I asked the New York City Department of Environmental Services about the garbage and recycling schedule over the Thanksgiving weekend. This is the response I got:
“The city of El Paso does not collect garbage during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The holiday will only affect customers who collect garbage bins on November 25 and 26. We ask these customers to launch their gray bins on Monday, November. 29. We will only collect the gray trash cans on November 29. Affected customers should keep the blue trash cans until the next regular collection day. If you have any questions, please call me.”
If your trash is usually picked up on Thursday or Friday, you need to keep the changes in mind. These changes are only for Thanksgiving weekend. There is no news about how to deal with the garbage schedule during the Christmas and New Year holidays, but we will notify you as soon as we receive news about these schedules.
